Tom & Jerry - You & Your DH??

    Opposite poles attract each other!!! The popular saying holds good in most of our lives. You and your DH may be two different extremes!! Or you may have lot in common still difference in thought atleast in couple of things!! But whatever the love never fades and it stands beyond all behaviors and thoughts!! One more saying comes to my mind..I think I can relate that too "Unity in Diversity!!!" - we still feel bonded though we have difference in opinion & thoughts.

    Lets share here what made you think you both are Tom & Jerry Or one or few incidents that made you feel you are in one extreme end and your DH is the other extreme!!

    And here you go from My side

    He is so practical and I'm so poetic...
    Doesnt like to express in words and love to hear from him...
    He is man of actions and I'm woman of words...
    He thinks multiple times before getting anything or doing anything and I will do it if i like it...etc etc...

    Come On!!! start rocking pals...

    yes, we are total opposites.

    he is laidback and im super planned
    he loves to admire himself in mirror - and i care a damn about how i look
    cant express anything and i expect it everyday
    he is hyper/super sensitive - while im practical and not bothered what people say
    he is scared tot ake risks and i dont even think before doing something



    common things:
    we both love watching movies
    both love to eat out
    neither of us spends too much money ;P
    both believe in saving for future
    both respect and wanna do something for our folks/siblings

    Dear malar,

    Very Cute topic..
    huh..me and my husband are poles apart on so many things, yet it works magical..
    Am kind of "jus love to live this moment" and he is tat of plan..plan..plan mania kind..
    He goes gaga over electronic gadgets and i go crazy about clothes, shoes, handbags etc(all girly girly things)...I go a step ahead tat I decide for him as well, he leaves his clothes to my choice n i dont stop him from buying his techie stuffs.so double damakka..
    He has selective amnesia over expression, whereas am a hopeless romantic kind that i bombard him with love letters, notes, poems gifts etc..he will be super excited to get them but nothing in return...everything safe locked deep inside I think..rarely he finds the key, but when he expresses he does it so powerfully, tat am lost in his love..
    He is pure non vegetarian and am pure vegetarian...I learnt to cook them n do it just for his sake..
    So many like these,miles apart, yet so bonded in love bliss...

    Good to know..I think guys express very rarely and as you said powerfully...and we keep on writing poems, letters, etc...very often...and expect the same...cool...
    Hey you cook non-veg for the sake him...he is so lucky yaar!!

    My hubby is carzy about politics and I am just opp to him...:bonk

    Whenever we switch on the TV he wants TV9, NDTV, CNN , ...... many such news channels :drowning . I fight with him to switch to some romantic movie Channel or something more interesting to me. But it hardly happens...

    :idea Now As soon as the TV is turned on I quickly tune it to my fav channel and hide the remote , poor Hubby is having hard time changing the channels:wink::biglaugh

    We are different in terms that I love to share every single detail with my family. Whereas he doesnt like it and he doesnt share much with his family either.
    He loves to have everything clean and organised and his way or organising is opposite to mine. I just trash everything in one bag in one place if someone is coming home, I clean up the sofas in a rush. He hates that as we lose so much stuff and never able to find it. When he cleans on the other hand, he will take days to complete it and it will be all oragnised. I do everyhting fast fast, he is a slow paced person.
    Those are few to name.
