Non sticky tiffin box breakfast for 3.5 yrs kid HI frnds... MY daughter is 3.5 yrs... i would like to know non-sticky breakfast which i cud send for her... when she is at home i have lot of options... now i'm left with very few options like bread with jam or butter, mini chappti or dosai... i even tried our own receipe index like krishnamma and chitvish... but did'nt get any idea... so frnd if u have any ideas pls do share some healthy receipe which can be packed for her breakfast...

That would be a healthy option and provided she can use a fork to eat her hands wont get messy. Another thing would be fruit-flavoured yogurt - can be eaten easily with a spoon. Vanathi.
Re: Non sticky tiffin box breakfast for 3.5 yrs kid Even cutlets (or tikkis) are a neat choice. I haven't frozen them yet but i think you can do that too easily. You can add paneer, any kind of vegetables so nutritious and easy to eat with cutleries. Re: Non sticky tiffin box breakfast for 3.5 yrs kid hi vahee, iam also thinking abt items for tiffin box as iam planning to send my son to play school. you can give chappathi role (fillings with veg curry or jam and roll it) so that they can eat easily. then bread sandwiches, cutlets. idlies also good. it is also non sticky. you can cut idlies in pieces and fry with little oil in dosai pan. then chana dal chundal good for health also. try any of this

Re: Non sticky tiffin box breakfast for 3.5 yrs kid Dear Vahee cutlets ,tikkis,kacori,n potato frywith cheese r the best option.along with the sandwich rolled in alu foil,try diff types of sandwich fillings. giving semi boiled salad veg is a gd idea as kids enjoy them whn cut in diff shapes .try with some sprouts ,salad leaves,carrot,cucumber,broccli,cauliflower etc. u can give parathas with diff stuffings. hope it helps. bye raji

I prepare sweet potato fries at home.Althought it cannot be considered as breakfast my DD eats them for snacks.No need of artifical sugar and bake them in oven so not much oil also. Vegetable Spring Roll is also good option.You can keep changing the stuffing each day. Thanks Mangai

I mash 1 very ripe banana (medium), add 1 cup whole milk, 1 cup all purpose flour, 2-3 teaspoons sugar, a few drops of vanilla flavor and a pinch of baking powder. Mix without any lumps and let stand for 5-10 mins. Make them on the griddle like oothappams (thick). They can be made in a jiffy - of course you can substitute the mashed banana with any ripe mashed/pureed fruit or sweet vegetable.
