We belong to different parts on the globe. There is so much geographical distance between us. I had never thought of I would live faraway from you. I love you as my life had started in the shadow of you. Life maybe goes on so easily here but my soul wants to be with you. I wish to be there with you and my loved ones on special days. I love to know about your wellbeing. I feel proud of your achievements and my heartache when something bad happens to you. I always wait for that awesome day to meet you. Sometimes it takes years to spend quality time with you. I feel as happy as a kid in a candy store when I fix the date to meet you. I start countdown and also wish to have wings to reach you. My little heart dances like a peacock when I meet you. I like to watch changes and developments in you like taking a kid to the fun fair for the first time. Sometimes I worry about cruelty of people who are around you. Time flies when we are together. I wander here and there to feel those past sweet moments again. I leave you with heavy heart. I always cherish those pleasant moments and wait for another meet up with you.....
My son and family settled in US have a similar state of mind. Though very happy with their jobs and stay there, still the longing to be part of the many festivities we have as family here, is always there. We try to make it up by either they making a trip to India every alternate year and we parents going too almost every year! from 2011 onwards.
