    Hi Ladies, I am not Indian but trying to cook idlies as my husband is Indian. I am confused on idli rava and idli podi . Idli podi is sold here in Dubai in south indian shops. Is it same thing? Thank you for your help.

    Hi Sara,

    Idly rava and Idly podi are different. We use idly podi with oil as a side dish for idly. I haven't heard about idly rava.I think, it might be the ingredient used to prepared Rava Idly. kindly check in the shop itself.
