How many of you had given thought of what you would do for a living? Or did it just happen that you chose one and started to make a living? Are you passionate about what you do for a living or is it just a mundane chore.? When school seniors graduate from college here, these questions have to be addressed by them. I am always surprised by the number of people who seem to know exactly what to do. When I was growing up it used to be that most children would choose to be an Engineer or a Doctor. Not being able to get into one of these positions would surely be a setback in making a living. So the pressure used to be on to get into these colleges. Children used to cram for weeks on end in preparation for an exam. Parents would also put undue pressure on the kids. What you do for a living, should tap into your inner self and contribute to society also. But how many of us do not have the luxury of these kind of facilities whereby we are able to do what we truly desire. Many get into a profession based on convenience or the pay scale is attractive or they were recommended thereby someone. What are your thoughts on this? Are you someone who was very clear where you wanted to work , what type of work you wanted to do? And are doing it today or till you retired. Or did you come by chance into your profession? Do share here.
