    Dear Viji
you write with such simplicity that it touches the inner chord in my heart.....
I read all your posts but maybe don't give FB to all as sometimes you have stated facts and there is nothing more to add....
I wanted to give a FB here becoz tis is 1 topic which I feel strongly about....
Best is not to lie as it will lead to uncomplicated life but sometimes we do lie to differ a situation or to help someone... such is life nothing is black or white only grey...

    Dear Viji,
    A thoughtful post.
Lies might have been part of human life since language appeared. Although they are something people frown upon, they are not all vicious.Beneficial lies usually mean to help. They are told out of kindness and people benefit from them. They help avoid hurt, sadness, insult, and impersonality.Lawyers lie on the court to help his criminal client win the lawsuit; sellers lie to their customers to talk them into buying the fake and shoddy products. These liars just benefit from the lies and get reputation, profit or toleration. In comparison, rumors are more vicious. Liars make them to revenge or pull their rivalries down.Neutral lies are meant nothing and are much simpler. When asked about private things, people may avoid answering the truth by telling a lie. This does no harm to both sides and is a protection to privacy. People all tell lies, on different occasions. Maybe what they need to do is just tell less spiteful lies, then life may become better.

    Dear Kerman

True if we tell a lie for a genuine reason then it is ok. But if a person goes on telling lies one day he will be caught

Very True! The best part of telling truth is that, you don't have to remember what you said, when you said and to whom you said.We have better things to remember than making silly excuses to cover up lies.great post ma'm.regs

    My dear viji,
There are people whose lives are built of lies,as a house built iof playing cards falls down as soon as you touch this play house, their lives also crack very fast. Some are habitual liars, they tell lies with out any reason whatso ever. Some are malicious and may spread lies, just to cause harm to some one's happiness.very sad, indeed.

Yes,there is a Tamil saying,"aayiram poi solli oru kalyanam seyyalam"the parents may feel thrilled that the daughter's or son's marriage went off well. But what will happen to the bride or the grom once the lie is exposed?

Parents have to be careful not to tell any lies in front of the kids otherwise they will learn to tell lies

    I agree with you totally
    A nice post,viji.
