If that's true, then it is great. Wow, never knew that.

I've had pretty bad anxiety for the longest time now and it affected my work and relationships. I feel like I am spiraling out of control. What can I do? Have any of you experienced this?

    See a doctor asap.
rule out any physiological causes first.
Once that is done, seek counselling. Also try meditation. If not anything, it helps you to relax.

Also anxiety causes more anxiety. Its like a chain reaction. Say if you had an episode of anxiety, it can leave a mark in your mind and when you remember it you will feel anxious and pretty much it can snowball into another episode of anxiety. One way to deal with this is to clench fists tight, sit and distract yourself from it by something like music or some mantra you chant in your head for a short while.

There are many mental hacks to protect yourself from anxiety. Too many for me to list. Better seek a counsellor or a professional.
