Can we visit both Tirupathi and Kalahasthi temples together in one trip? I heard some people saying one can't visit both the temples in one trip. Is that true, if so why? Please let me know. Thanks in advance
We always visit both temples on the same trip. I didn't know there was anything against it. We go to Tirupati first, since it is our family deity, then visit Kalahasthi on the return trip.
Sister msm, As far as I know, you can visit both Tirupathi and Kalahasthi in the same trip, we have visited many times, especially when we take relatives/ guests But if your visit to Sree Kalahasthi is for some Parihara Pooja, then that has to be a separate trip. Thanks for understanding, Happy Darshan & Safe Journey. May Baba guide us always, SAIRAM
Well the belief is that if we do Parihara pooja at Sri Kalahasti then it has be a separate trip. The guidance from religious people and elders is that the trip should be such that we first visit Kalahasti Temple (only if it is for Darshan ), then Managpuram (Darshanam of Padmavathi Ammavaru) and finally Tirumala Venkateswara Darshanam. This is the guidance I have got and I am sharing it Om Namo Lakshmi Narayana
Thanks very much Malstrom, Saisakthi and Lavanya for your replies/suggestions. We are planning to visit there around the last week of Aug/first week of Sep.
You may visit both the temples in a single visit. Please check that bramhotsavams may fall in sept. The place is heavily crowded during this time. A small surprise: While returning from kalahasti, please observe the thirumala hills properly, you may find the shape of god's face along with naamam clearly and you will be mesmerised. you have to tilt your head for this. You may check this on the newly constructed flyover or just before the fly over. Thirumala hill's special view in the form of Lord balaji's face | Sulekha Creative
@ OP - you might like to follow how we use to cover those two places. Go to TTD early morning and take Special dharshan ticket and right after dharshan at TTD travel to kalahasthi and that will make your day full
yes in that case we need to scedule Sri kalahasthi in seperate day. as Saishakti sis told too,. 1 whole day for TTD then the next day for Rahu kethu pooja which will take around 2 hours for finishing up the the puja by following the instructions . cuz by having mass pilgrims we never known when will our turn comes , standing , laying down on the floor and fighting in the line itself :bonk
if u r doing parihara pooja in kalahasti , u have to come to home without visiting any temples...if u still want to do parihara , visit tirupati tirumala and then to kalahasti and come back to home...if no parihara is done , then its upto u to choose the route and temple...thank u with wishes mahalakshmi
