    I would suggest you to invest in gold. Buy some gold coins or some jewellery.

    ICICI introduced iWish concept. Get the details from their website. It seems like FD. i am not sure about it fully.

    i would also like to invest in gold coins, but do they pay cash when you sell them??
    i have enquired in some of the gold shops,they say they dont pay cash but will exchange with gold ornaments!!
    how about if we need cash out of it?? has anyone here sold gold coins for cash here???

    Hi, I would like to suggest SIP (mutual funds). You can always invest in growth funds, watch the market and take it out (redeem) when the market is doing good for that particular product. I have personal experience. This works only if you're ready to invest or commit more than 2.5 years so that you get best yield aprrox 15% minimum. Secondly, try investing in recognized chit funds, even that works better than bank rates.

    My husband invested 70k in sbi mutual fund in tax saving scheme on 2007. After that he doesnt track the values. Now i am tracking its current value is 65k. Before few years back its value 25k, 55k like that. Came to know the reason as market is down.

    Let me know which scheme is returning good value in current market. I am thinking yilo transfer the current scheme into other
