    hi friends,

my 9 months son is suffering from cold and cough.i have given him the course of medication but still he has having the cold.

i have no clue why he is having regularly. May be due to over heat that what the doctor suggests. In nights he sleeps in A/C .Without A/C my kids do not sleep well if i switch off the A/C .Inbetween i do on and off.

I feel because of this cold he is not having food properly and he has become lean.he is not much interested to take food.

i do not want to use English medicine for long.

Please advice some simple home tips with which my son can be free of the cold and cough.

    Thanks,
    Kavya

Tulasi kashaayam is a good home-remedy for colds in children.
Also, Milk, boiled with a pinch of turmeric, a pinch of black pepper powder and when it is warm, half a spoon of honey can be added to it and given to children at bed time.

    Hi...
What is the temperature that you set? Sudden movement from cold (Ac room) to hot room will trigger cold too... so set your AC to 27 to 28 degree and just before baby waking time say 10 minutes before switch off AC so that baby has time to adjust slowly to the temperature of non AC rooms....
