    Dear vpriya !

    Sorry, I missed your post.
I do not know about modular kitchens.
My cupboards are made of treated plywood & laminated on the outside & painted inside. For countertop, granite is the best.
I hope you mean the hand blender. I am very happy with Braun, which is the only brand I have been using for many years.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    My dear Meena !

Samosas need not be thawed beforefrying.
Usually we precook, form patties or cutlets & freeze.
But we must fry it well in a very hot flame - the heat has to penetrate to the centre. As you start doing, you will learn it by practice.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Mrs.Chitra,
Tried ur method of freezing samosas and tried baking 4 of them in oven, it came out good. ofcourse not as super as frying, but baked samosas were also good , can try when one is very concious abt fried food. just brushed little oil on the top of samosas. now i have to try freezing cutlet. this is soo handy. i also made a list of items kept in freezer and date it is stored. thanks so much.
    Regards,
    Priya

    My dear vpriya !

Yes, you can bake samosas to cut down on oil. As you rightly wrote, it will br good, but not like fried ones !
Cutlet etc can be shallow fried & so less oil-consuming.
    Thanks for your F B.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Mrs. Chitra,
I find your tips as well as recipes and the religious information amazing :clap :clap. There is such a lot to learn. I am simply going through them one by one and there is such a lot:thankyou2: . I find answers to many of my doubts there. Can you please tell me how to make honey nellikai (amla). I tried once but was not satisfied with the end result. Also, how to make the dried sweet nellikai that we get in the market. l would really appreciate your answer to this.

    Dear Malini,
    Thanks for your appreciative words.
    I shall post honey nellikkai.
Do you mean nellikkai murabba by dry nellikkai? - I don't get it.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Mrs Chitra,

Thank you for your prompt reply. I don't think its nellikai murrabba. These are dry sugar coated pieces. I found them in the Khadi store. I would love to make them at home as amla is available now in the market.

    Warm regards
    Malini
