    Hi,
    iam new to USA.
    usually i will keep the house and kitchen clean.
    but some spots (may be due to milk or oil ) under the burner (when we open the stove top) is not going with normal dish liquid.

    please refer the name of the shop also where we can get tht liquid.
    hope this is the correct place i can get solution.

    Hi Rachaputi,this thread is brilliant and very useful,I would like to share a tip,I don't buy nonstick tavas for making dosa because after a time the nonstick coating starts peeling and ingesting these can lead to cancer.But sometimes in the morning when i start making the dosas it starts sticking and my kids want perfectly round and not broken.So I rub this hot iron tava with halfcut onion(the cut side dipped in oil).The dosa stops sticking and you can make really thin crispy dosas.

    We can add peeled and cut pieces of raw potato,if the salt is excess.You can remove later.It works:thumbsup
