Assuming you are in Chennai now, I would suggest visit
The Thirumala Devasthanam office at venkatanarayana road in T Nagar Chennai. The office would be in a position to guide and probably even book time slot etc.
my efforts to find contact number proved futile. The temple closes at 8 pm.
Wish yourbaby and rest of pilgrimage members a happy journey and Darshan.

    Hai
My daughter went to tirumala about 6 months back with her 3 years old son. she said was there is no need of ticket and we can go to the tulabaram place which is located near the entrance of the temple. For her 3 years son it costed her less than 1000 rupees. And we have to pay cash there only. You type tulabharam in tirumala. You will get all details

THULABHARAM MADE EASY FOR DEVOTEES OF SRIVARI TEMPLE
    by TTD NewsSpecial Articles

Tirumala, October 22: Now one need not ferry rice bags or Jaggery into temple of Lord Venkateswara to present the same as per their weight to the deity to fulfil their vow to the deity.

From time immemorial the devotees come to temple of Lord Venkateswara to contributions as per their weight of their children and seek well being of their wards. The practice of weighing the child or adult in rice, jaggery, sugar and sugar candy besides coins.

The TTD has simplified the procedure of Thulabharam inside Srivari Temple and made it convenient for both the devotee and also for the Institution. ‘We had a tough task of handling tonnes of coins, hence the new procedure ‘says Nagender Rao, Thulabharam in-charge at Srivari Temple.

Under the new procedure the TTD accepts all offerings in form of cash only and fixed rates as per quantity to the weight of person or child Like value of one kg of ten paisa is Rs.50, Rs.5 offered is Rs.555 per one kg. Similarly Rice per kg is valued at Rs.27, Sugar at Rs.34, and Jaggery at Rs.27 and Sugar Candy at Rs.30.

‘We till the donor about the total amount to be paid which they should deposit it in the Srivari Hundi. However if someone brings coins we do not reject it but ask them to put in hundi after weighing “he says.

. she said she told near entrance that she wanted to get tulabaram done for her baby. They directed her
To tulabaram (we all can see it on the left side while going in line ) and after the process made her join the line again. I don't think there might be changes but As this was 6 months back and rules change often just enquire.
