Hi
Calling all ladies to discuss and impart information regarding admission for kg1 for the next academic year .
Which schools are you thinking of?
I have 2 kids ready to be enrolled next year I am thinking of
1) dps
2) gems millennium Sharjah
3) Ryan star
4) our own
Any reviews about Winchester or any other school , etc please share .

2)Sharjah indian school

Dear Friends,

We are to sharjah in December end.My elder son will be 3.5 yr old by that time and I'm looking for KG1 admission there for 2014-15.

Is it possible to apply from India and attend interview once we reach there since I heard many schools will start admission by november.

Also please do update when the admission for KG1 and procedure starts since we are new.

Well any time after or in September the schools will start the admission process .please keep checking the websites of the schools you wish to apply. I am not sure whether you can come and give the interview later. You need to check with the respective schools by emailing, or calling thm and verifying .
Though admissions process starts early the actual school or academic sessions start only in April 2014 .

Hi Ramya and Malar

Yes, advance homework is always necessary interms of school admission. Indian curriculum and British curriculum pattern differs here for admission procedure and also cost matters.

We planned for O Level for base education interms of schooling and the terms starts in September (play school)for which the admission starts from FEB itself. So, next year academic to KG1, we need to visit schools personally.
Some schools have nursery continued with KG1 grades also.

DPS sharjah reviews are good from friends around. fyi

I've heard very good reviews of DPS, though no personal experience. My son has been going to School of Knowledge Sharjah and I'm very happy with the standard of education, however they could do more about the extracurriculars. But so far, it's the only school that I've found to be affordable while maintaining a good standard. Now for my daughter, I'm looking for admission into any good school.. considering Ryan Star.. any reviews would be appreciated.

Hi Everyone,

I am new to UAE.

I have filled the online registration for dps.. KG1 .. sesssion 2014-2015... but I have still not received any sms regarding the submission on 250 AED ....

Can anybody please tell us, by when can we expect the SMS.
