    This is the season mango tree flowers turn into golden yellow ripe mangoes with that wonderful heavenly swadth. Upon terrace it is easy to pluck her & bite lick suck . One is automatically in present moment as the juice flows down your palm and fore-arm.

    Recently Mango tree was in media. A brother of contestant in MLA election -Karnataka state -Mysore was raided by income tax authorities.
    They sensed money at top
    Of mango tree
    A soiled cloth bundle
    Found to contain
    ₹ one croew.
    Back to sweet note. In india we have iver 52 varieties of Mangoe. Few are of short season.

    could some one list names of other mangoes and about thise varieties used fir making pickles called vadu, thokku, Aāvakkaį.

    The good news is money ₹ one crore + stashed atop mango tree had the desired result. Ashok kumar of Mysore won the MLA SEAT in recently held Karnataka state election.

    oh my these look good, my wish is to get in the mango field and get some good mangoes.. just go around walking hahaha by the time i get to india next month all the mango trees will be emptied but i am hoping few fruits will be left on our tree at my native place... have to wait and see...:confundio1::confundio1:

    muntha mamidiiii anyone had it before???.. sweet,cute small fruit.. last time we got to taste it when we are in india very tasty,flavorful and good sweet...

    I couldn't read beyond thokku. My mouth started to water uncontrollably..:blush: its been ages since I had thokku

    P.S. your mango tree photo reminds me of the farmers from Ratnagiri (birthplace of Alphonso) who used to knock on our apartment doors in Mumbai during late 80s early 90s with a wooden crate stuffed with hay and Alphonso mangoes. During that time itself each mango was Rs 50. I'm sure now each mango would be Rs 500.

    I have many mango memories. My thatha had mango grove in his village. Me & my younger brother enjoyed a lot there in our childhood and every summer he bring mangoes in large bundles :hearteyes:. Now he is no more i m missing him a lot. Whenever I see mango it reminds my grandpa and his pure love.
