Re: Rice falls out of the vessel into the cooker

    Deeyo,
Chitra mami' is completely in bed rest due to her recent knee surgery.
How old was your cooker and which brand???
Try to change Gasket in the first place if its old.
The ratio should be 1:2 in rice and put alteast 1 ltr water in cooker and keep rice vesel.
I dont think there will be any issue as cookers are just bodies and no technology inside.
It could be a problem with gasket per my knowledge.
If its still troubling you, go to nearest service station and get it repaired.

    Hi Priya_Mommy,

Thanks for your response. Please pass my "Get Well Soon" prayers to Mrs. Chitra.

My cooker is Prestige and is 3 months old.

Re: question about grinding in the grinder

Dear Shree, I think the grinder has to be looked into.
I keep rice+urad+poha+methi mixed & ready. First run with just 2 tbsp water. Then as it runs, go on adding handfuls of rice mixture in the running grinder. It comes perfect.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    dear maami,

thanx for the reply. i don't know if it is the grinders problem as this happens from day 1 and mine is a ultra brand which is generally rated good.

    Shree,

I think you must try grinding the Chithramma way - rice+urad+poha+methi all soaked together and ground together. may be it's the rice variety that makes it stick to the grinder.

    dear chitra maami,
pls tell me how to make "raw carrot juice" in the mixer. i don't have a juicer.
also i don't want to sieve the juice as all the fibre will go off. i want to drink the juice along with its fibre.
pls tell me how can i make the juice in the mixer as tasty as possible, because i want to drink it daily in the morning. and raw carrot paste as it is drinking is not that tasty.
pls tell me how to make the tastier and the faster way of making "raw carrot juice" without sieving it.

i saw your carrot-mint-juice recipe, but it is a strained juice. pls tell me how to prepare a tasty juice without straining it, but in the mixer.

    thank you, maami. pls reply.
