MIL: I raised the kids on my own. Your FIL was never there to help me. I had no support, yet I raised my kids so well. You don't have any hardships in my comparison.

Me: Really??? You had your parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister, 3 mama, 2 grandparents, everyone living within 5 km radius. Even your husband lived only in the neighboring city and visited every weekend. Whereas I live thousands of kms away from my dear ones, not a single relative in the whole wide country. I would give away my right hand thumb for your life. :rant:rant:rant:rant

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

MIL: MY son this, MY son that, My son, MY son.....

Me: Do you know he has got a name??? Why can't you just say '(insert his name)'. What type of insecurity is this? Saying 'my son' instead of his name even in the most mundane sentences !!! :rant:rant

Seriously???? You won't be happy with that also, believe me.

Because my MIL does: My (daughter's name) this and that......My (daughter's DD names) this and that........My (son's name) this and that, as if no one else has a child on this whole earth and I am super pissed off with this type of addressing.

Gosh!!!.... she is not addressing this way to my FIL else i will go :rotfl then and there.
