    Dear Ladies,

    Here is my today's contribution. I just want to say that it is written in good humour and I hope you will enjoy it.

    தங்கச் சிலை ஒன்று கண்டேன்

    தங்குமா என்னுடன் என்ற வினவினேன்

    தங்கினால் என்னுடன்

    தாங்குவேன் தங்கத் தாம்பாளத்தில் எனறேன்

    தாங்கு தாங்கு என்ற நீ தாங்கினாலும்

    தொங்கு தொங்கு என்று தொங்கினாலும்

    தொங்கும் தாலி இல்லாமல் உன்னுடன்

    தங்கினால் தாங்காது இந்த சமூகம் எனறும்

    தொங்கும் தாலி இன்றி உன்னுடன் வாழ

    வரலொட்டியின் கதாபாத்திரம் இல்லை நான்

    தங்கச் சிலை சொன்னது

    Nowadays I am highly inflenced by the two stalwarts of IL forum namely varalotti and Cheeniya. Today's contribution is the inspiration from Cheeniya's thread on jealousy. I hope you will appreciate it.

    பொறாமை உள்ள மனதில்
    பொறுமை மறைந்து போகும்

    பொறாமை உள்ள இடத்தில்
    பெருமை குறைந்து போகும்

    பொறாமை கொண்ட மனிதர்கள்
    பேராண்மை இழந்து நிற்பர்

    பொறாமை கொண்ட மனிதர்கள்
    பொறி கலங்கிப் போவர்

    பொறமை குடியிருக்கும் மனதில்
    சந்தேகம் கோபம் போன்ற
    கொடிய வியாதிகள் உருவாகும்

    பொறாமை தவிர்ப்போம்
    பெருமை பெருவோம்

    Adathu mazhai peythalum vidathu nadakam nadathap padum enpathu pola, whoever reads and appreciates this or not, I continue my 'Thinam oru kavithai'. Here is my today's contribution.

    பெண்ணாகப் பிறத்தல்
    பெரும் பாவம் என்றனர்
    உண்மை அறிய
    இறைவனிடம் வேண்டினேன்
    ஒரு நாளேனும் என்னை ஒரு
    பெண்ணாக மாற்று என்று
    மாறினேன் உணர்ந்தேன் என்னை
    அன்பின் அடைக்கலமாக அன்னையாய்
    பாசத்தின் பாசறையாக தமக்கையாய்
    கனிவான காதலில் மனைவியாய்
    சோதனைகளை எதிர் கொண்டு
    சாதனைகளாய் மாற்றும்
    பாரதி கனவு கண்ட புதுமைப் பெண்ணாய்
    பெண்ணாகப் பிறத்தல்
    பெரும் தவம் என்று

    Hi ppl,

    I read allll the kavithaigal now. So decided this is the right place for me to ask.

    My parents and me are celebrating my dad's 60th birthday (60-m kalyanam) ...When attending it, we ppl usually read a 'vaazhthu' ..I want to write 'vaalthu' for my parents myself.....I hav ideas of telling their goodness... I need such 'pulamai' ppl's ideas,phrases,rhyming words..I will customize it.

    காலம் என்ற கடலில்
    வாழ்க்கை என்ற படகை
    இணைந்து துடுப்புப் போட்டு
    பெரும் செல்வங்களாக
    முத்துக்களான எங்களை
    ஈன்றெடுத்து சீராட்டி வளர்த்து
    எங்களை கரையேற்றி
    அறுபதாம் கல்யாணம் காணும்
    அருமை பெற்றோர்களே
    அறுபதை தாண்டி எண்பது வயதில்
    ஆயிரம் முழு நிலவுகளை
    ஆரோக்கியத்துடன் நீங்கள் காண
    எங்களது நல் வாழ்த்துக்கள்
