We are waiting to get discharged The Dr my Dad loved wishes him farewell The Nurse Practitioner have been in contact with told us how to treat the incisions We were told Dad needs to wear heart monitor for month and come for appt after a month. The stroke team followed up with Dad. Now we are waiting for person with heart monitor instructions to give us discharge instructions and relieve us!
i heard abt heart monitor dont have experience with that.. nice.. always feels good to be home...sweet home...
its going to take a lot of time so hopefully by evening 4,5 i guess... they have to put everything in system do paper work and all the related doctors,other people come and talk you get tired so just eat,drink and keep talking.. you will be home today keep that in mind...
We are home but have lot to do. I have to review and study all the instructions for this month I am scared something may be amiss Yesterday when I was waiting to see my Dad after the operation, there was a family next to us that had someone who hadn’t waken from anesthesia. Today I see that family member crying really I am scared for Dad The nurses were very impatient If person is little slow to understand things, should they abandon their parents? I hope Dad will make great recovery. He had other underlying heakth issues that are nit in his head I’m happy Dad came home but I am being cautious because we need to monitor for a month. And then we have appt a year later still this is scary. I dont blame Dad for not trusting anyone to come into our home I’m wondering if I can get some flexible schedule for s month. I’m not the favorite employee at work but I can certainly ask
Contact your dads medical insurance and see if you can get some assistance. You cannot be Superwoman.
welcome home...... please dont take other family things into your head, instead glad that surgery and everything went well and now dad is in recovery phase, there will be some home work for you now.. study thru it and know your things.. as dad is independent and talking that is so so much better so he can tell you if he needed something, let me know to call you if he need something immediately.. as dad dont want anyone to come home any help from outside might be irritating him, so try to find someone you are comfortable with to be around and see if that help..
