Cheeniya sir, I am sure I have read this thread before, but it seems I have missed posting a feed back on it. One more of your hilarious posts at such a precarious time. Wouldn't "thande thande paani se nahaana chaahiye, gaana aaye ya na aaye, gaana chahiye" been more apt for the situation?????

Sorry, I guess it is mean of me, but just could not help myself. But am truly and really glad that the bathroom door may (not can) be kept locked once again. :-D

    My dear Satchi
Thank you for your concern! I am allowed to lock my bathroom now but old habits die hard you know. I do continue my singing under the shower. I sing a couple of rain-based songs of recent movies as my trembling voice gives those songs added effect!

Felt a bit sorry to read about your haemorrhage, Cheeniya Sir. But kudos to your attitude!

I started my life when even my
    Basic needs were never fulfilled.
I did not accept it with a sigh.
So much was there to fill.

I toiled hard in the initial years
And had my basic needs covered.
Then came some of my glorious years
That made me to really hover.

My needs expanded, so was my
    Smartness in earning too.
As my hairs turned to gray, my
    Dreams did not stop though!

Then one day I felt so sick,
    And was hospitalized soon.
I never had the choice to pick
    Things that I loved, sooner.

I felt similar to a flying bird
That was hurt and so grounded.
Yet there lives an undying nerd
    Who's refusing to be rounded!

    My dear RGS
Thanks a lot for this beautiful FB which has now become your trade mark! Poetry has always remained elusive to me. I am a lover of good poetry though. Khalil Gibran is one of my top favorites and I quote him whenever I get a chance. I love the abstract kind of poetry of TS Eliot and WH Auden which looks easier to write than the ones with rhyming lines.
I wonder if you aware how gifted you are!

Thanks a lot Cheeniya Sir. I only read a bit of TS Eliot. Never actually read Khalil Gibran [one or two statements do not count, right?] or even Auden. Read a bit of Thomas Grey and Alfred Tennyson though. And I just am a beginner, playing with words like a child with letters in a scrable game. And I count myself lucky to receive all your motivation. -rgs
