    hi everyone,
    i think i am a late comer here.. me to want join this group.....am thinking to start from tmrw...already am in weight reduce process....am always tendency to eat sweet after meal...now a days whenever am feeling eat sweets am having jaggery...some days it didnt workout..today i had dairy milk 4 pieces....let me know choclate is good for health or not??? 3 or 4 pieces ok???????

    Hi Meenu:

    Welcome to the club! Jaggery is a good idea but in moderation. A 100gm bar of dairy milk chocolate has about 520 calories, so roughly it is about 65 cals per piece (assuming it is a 8 piece bar). Instead of taking 4 pieces, you may want to reduce it to 2 pieces..

    Do write in this journal everyday about your cravings, success in going about this challenge.

    Good going, meenu, from past one week i too have cut down on sugar in my daily beverage and have completely avoided sweets. going good so far!

    coolblues me too wanted to join your challenge but with my strong relations to sugary sweets let me do it slowly like decreasing the amount of sugar for my coffee & tea & slowly my intake of choclates & sweets wnen i'm stressed lemme go easy after diwali with yummy sweets

    Yes, it is very important that you gradually taper off the cravings. Body cannot take sudden cut off of any thing.. however, its all in the mind..

    However, do remember we all struggle for months after a weak moment of giving into sweets. Do take care and do start writing your journal in this thread by answering few questions that is given in the first post..
