I am very happy that you enjoyed my article.
Positive energy is a vast subject. I will give a "mini" outline.
Energy cannot be seen physically, but still exists. Sometimes, when some body visits you, you feel so nice & comfortable.That means they radiate positive energy. Whereas, if some people leave your house after a visit, you feel relieved & happy ! They radiate negative energy ! There is a lot more to it.

Hari Aum, Radha V !

Fresh flowers have a lot of positive energy & that is why they have given you so much of viewing pleasure !
I will give you just an outline.
Aum, Swastik symbols, kolam with kavi at the entrance, fresh flowers in water, a beautiful lamp all usher positive energy.
Dirty & ill kept rooms, footwear kept at the entrance, angry words, harsh words etc give negative energy.
In short, happiness radiates positive & sadness, sickness, irritability etc give negative energy.

Your feed back is so sweet.
If I remember right, it is vibhoothi pachilai. I got swastik, pillayar, sivalingam , lotus etc done in flowers ! A few general kolams as well.

You make me feel so happy with your kind words. I cannot get a better compliment than being compared to positive energy !
As you write, Madurai malli is incomparable. Near Mylapore Nilgiris, there is one boy who sells it everyday. I buy regularly for my Madurai Meenakshi picture ( which I posted for tamil new year) & a " killu" to adorn my koondal !!
Meenakshi & me belong to Madurai - so, special for both of us !!

Dear Chitra,

Well written article on AUM.....it is a great topic and has so many meanings and explanations, ..it is always good to read about it. Like u said, positive energy vibrates everytime we hear this word....and it sounds so peaceful when we utter it slowly and loudly.....the vibrations always make me feel at peace.
