    dear goutamjasti,
moved by your remarks. this story was published long back in IL and got me the very first award instituted by IL. This came as a short novel and was made into a TV serial as well by Jaya TV.

    Dear sir,

Such a moving story.... my eyes well with tears thinking of the selfless love of saradha!! a fantastic story sir!!

I am currently reading Love All book sir. Though I have read every episode here in IL and I know the story well, reading it again on paper is an experience in itself..... i had to muffle my sobs on the bus yesterday (while commuting to office) reading the love of Pundarika!!

    Thank you sir!!

Dear Sri sir. Joined forum in the recent past and came across your threads and this one, in particular. I've already read this a couple of times and have bookmarked it as well. This and the OMG series are, for me, very moving. I can read them many, many more times.

What a beautiful, sensitive, sacrificing, noble person Sharada turned out to be. And all she had yearned from her brother was ONE kind word, A gesture, AN acknowledgement that SHE, a person, existed beyond the scar.

Hats off to Balan for recognizing that Sharada's soul was so pure and gentle that a nary a scar can blemish it.

I only wish the mother had done, despite her promise to Sharada, her part right -- making this guy, as a kid, recognize and pay heed to his elder sis' feelings.

I'm pretty irritated at the mother for letting this insensitivity continue for so long.

How true that we recognize the importance of some thing, some one only when we've lost that some thing or some one !!

Rest in peace, dear noble Sharada.

    Dear barnowl,
thanks for the nice words. I made this story into a short novel and then it was made into a TV serial which came for four days in Jaya TV in 2009.
And yes OMG is another thing I loved to write. Most of the stories I translated into Tamil and brought out a book last year.
Love shines better when somebody around is insensitive not to recognise it. If only Sharada's brother had recognised her love this would have been an ordinary story.
    thanks for the kind words.
