    What a touching story, of the priest and the prostitute.You brought tears to my eyes, not many can do that.

    Thanks a lot. I loved writing this story. I wrote it in English and Tamil. Somehow the English magazines were averse to this story while a Tamil newspaper published it.

    Dear neethu,
    I first wrote this story in tamil. It was rejected by all mags. Then I translated into English. Again rejected. Then translated again into Tamil and this time one leading newspaper-magazine published the story.
    This is one story I loved to write.
    And neethu, thanks for the time you have invested in reading my stories.

    I read THE SCAR and now this. very touching stories!!!! The amount of trust the character Lakshmi had in her husband is great!!!!When the trust couples have for each other is unshakeable , marriages can hardly be broken.

    thanks a lot for reviving interest in the story posted a few years ago. You are right. It's the trust that is at the root of a marriage, for that matter any relationship, be it a casual friendship or a life long relationship.
