    The name Vani Jayaram made me think of the yeater year singer with the same name. I do not know much about this new singer .All the best for the young couples - nitya

    I think now she is also DR,she was doing M.B.B.S 2yrs back.
    Vani is tamilian, born & brought up in kerala,participated in Idea star singer(Asianet programme) 3 yrs back,even though she didn't win the tittle,but she was pet for all..

    Oh that is so nice of u to post the pics along with the news. Yesterday only while browsing I came to know that Vani Jayaram is engaged. She also is a Doctor no? Is she acting in films?

    I loved her singing in ISS 2007 - somehow she could not make it to the finals. I came to know that even Durga Vishwanath is engaged (or married) to a Christian. Their photos were also available.

    I think the first one in this team to get engaged was Amritha Suresh - yet another lovely singer of ISS. Have you seen her album Mithila - they show the song - Sowmithrey Sowmithrey neeyaanallo en theiyvam. Lovely singing and acting too!

    I used to love her singing and never missed to watch the episode she would sing....she was and still is an all time favourite of viewers.
