The Night And The Stars - A Journey Towards The Dark

My Lovely Ladies here....

After a gap, I am attempting to write one more story. Have just started infact. Posting my first episode today. Let me know your thoughts if you happen to read this.

Episode 1:

“Jaaaaaanu!!! Come on!!!” all the girls clapped seeing Jaanu taking the lighter and the cigarette.

The claps sound boosted Jaanu and she turned on the lighter and took her lips near the lighter and the cigarette which was in between her lips started fuming….

“Heyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!” Everyone jumped and clapped seeing that.

“Well done Jaanu” Chaaru hugged her tight.

“Now let me try!!!” Chaaru took the cigarette from her bestie’s lips and lighted it.

After them, many girls tried that same cigarette.

Everyone tried and after sometime, someone turned on the music. Jaanu and Chaaru started dancing like two mad girls and everyone around them followed their dance steps.

That was too much fun for the girls and finally everyone were exhausted and fell on the bed. Few girls lied on the floor as well.

The neat hotel room faced silence after too many hustle and bustle. Now everything was quiet. Just silence. The girls were tired after 3 days college trip and everyone enjoyed to the maximum. Everyone’s dream was to smoke at least once in their life and they decided to try that on their college tour.

Everyone were happy that they tried it atleast once.

“Hey its time….am feeling hungry…Shall we go and eat something?!!” a girl got up and sat.

“But we all had dinner already!!! But 4 hours back…” – someone said.

“Today’s dinner is my treat for everyone. Everyone place your orders and let me know the amount. I will pay” – Charu said as she lied keeping her head on Jaanu’s stomach.

“Hey!!! Then I will sponsor the desserts tonight” – Everyone heard Jaanu’s voice.

Everyone’s face brightened listening to those words though few discussed about why these girls always spend for others. Though Jaanu and Chaaru knew what others talk behind their backs, they never stopped themselves from spending for others.

Chaaru was always ahead of Jaanu in spending for others. Though all her spending were not so useful, she has also paid fees for many of her financially unstable classmates. Jaanu has always admired her for that.

Just like any other college, there were many gangs in inside their class, many dnt like Jaanu and Chaaru being together always. Many tried to separate them. Many Many stories were there. But they were always found together.

Chaaru was the queen of the class and Jaanu was the princess.

Episode 2:


Jaanu got down from auto and ran into her home.

“maaaaa……” she hugged her mom from behind.

“You enjoyed?” – Her mom asked as she sauted the vegetables.

“Of course ma!!! You know what?!!! I tried smoking yesterday. I coughed instantly. I dnt like it anyway” she whispered in her ears.

Her mom peeped out and saw whether Jaanu’s dad is around.

“Ok. Refresh and come. Food is ready” – Chitra

“Will have after sometime maa” - Jaanu

Jaanu went to her room and dumped all her tour things on bed and lied beside that happily.

She heard someone knocking her room door.

“Come in” she said as she put her leg on the other.

“Sis….May I use your laptop for half an hour?” – Suraj asked in a low voice.

“What for?!” – Jaanu raised her eyebrows.

“just for playing games! Will give you soon” – Suraj replied with hesitation.

“hmmm okay. Just 30 minutes” – Jaanu replied as she saw her laptop.

“Thanks sis” – Saying this Suraj ran away taking the laptop.

Since she got bored of doing nothing, she slowly got up from the bed and stood in front of the mirror.

She saw herself.

Her curly hair….

“Mom never allows me to straighten my hair….This is the one thing which I have been asking for years and the only one thing which she keeps denying. Whats wrong in straightening my hair.”

Her lips curled down seeing her hair.

“I would have been happy if atleast it would have been a beautiful curly hair… mine is just curly….not beautiful though.” She said as she saw her hair ends touching her shoulders.

She saw her face

“how many beautiful girls in my college…But my face….” She kept staring at her face.

Hers was neither a round face, nor a oval one. It was a mixture of both. Her skin was slightly dark and she considered it as a not so beautiful face.

“I don’t have a single good feature in me” she curled down her lips.

“Jaanu….Come and have your food” she heard her mom’s voice and went out of her room.

She sat on the dining table and her brother Suraj came.

“Sis….dont know what happened….laptop got shut downed suddenly” his voice reflected his inner fear…

“What?!!!” – Jaanu’s voice was filled with anger and that terrified suraj still more.

“How dare?! You idiot” saying this she beat him hard on his back.

“Jaanu!!! Idiot! Why are you beating him for this petty issue?” – Chitra came out angrily.

“maa….see what your son has done?” Jaanu showed her laptop to him.

“So?! You will beat him?” – Her mom asked her angrily.

“hmmm….Sons are always special to moms. Daughters are always secondary” – Jaanu smirked and fiddled with the laptop.

Suraj was seeing his sister with fearful eyes.
