Don't name your child Krishna either. You'd have more than one DIL to cope with.

quite tricky that is . He had a good life so not sure about the energy associated mythologically with this name. Ram has tough life despite being adarsh man .
It's not always about superstitions In fact here we can argue over as mythology has shades but never in my life I would name my child over a barbaric mass murderer no matter what that name means ... iron copper glass silver ya gold .

That way kids shouldn't be named Adolf, Saddam even Rajiv (for the 1984 Sikh massacre) or Narendra (for the Gujarat riots in which thousands were killed).

To some yes to some no. All Iam saying is it not certain that that kid will be what his name is but being a parent I will be cautious not to associate it with any negativity . We keep names with virtue I think but that's not the guarantee of virtue within us. That's the reason you are not bill gates and Iam not limitless. But yes our parents must have all positives associated with our name . They must have wished to to be filthy rich and me next kalpana chawla.

There are people named Parashuram. Strictly speaking that guy was an axe murderer sorry axe mass murderer. In puranas it is proudly mentioned that he created a pool with the blood of a particular community.
