    Dear C

Thanks for your explanation on the association of 7 with Gayathri mantra. Can you please elaborate on the mental, intellectual and super-mental consciousness when you get a chance.

    -Gayathri.

    Dear Gayathri,
I am astonished that you are showing so much of interest ! I will just give the outline briefly.
The Gayahri in its long form runs as follows:
The first part is the seven "vyahrithis" or names of the Seven Lokas & Planes.
Om Bhu - Om Bhuvah - Om suvah - Om Mahah - Om Janah - Om Taapah - Om Satyam
These seven steps are the seven invocations. They invoke the seven layers of existence or this Universe or Creation.
    They are grades in consciousness:
    Bhooh - Physical
    Bhuvah - Vital
    Suvah - Mental
    Mahah - Intellectual
    Janah - Super-mental
    Tapah - Spiritual
    Satyam - Divine
These seven golden stairs, every creature must climb, in order o Evolve or ascend one by one, before it reaches the Highest-One.
If I elaborate more, well, I will be conducting almost a class ! So just take it, that they are various steps in ascension!
    Love,
    Chithra.
