The Kundalini awakening??

Hi,
I am practising kundalini yoga for more than
10 years. I learned from the trained teachers of Aliyar Vethathiri Maharishi institute.

 

The fact that it did not happen again suggests that the triggers were ritualistic setting ( temple, bhajanai, probably use of ceremonial drums etc)

It could also been modeled as a "charge-discharge" action ie you had a Kundalini experience that discharged the accumulating energy and now it may take "x" months/years to rebuild that charge. Your headaches MAY have something to do with the pentup force not finding an outlet before.


2) Are you able to recreate the experience at will ?
Oh no..until recently I never had a positive feeling about it, i was too scared. Only after reading about kundalini i am bit pacified.But I am still in doubt.

This depends on the person - some people find it an incredibly pleasurable / wonder-filled experience and seek to keep repeating it. Others who are startled by the experience are more wary of it. People who are unaware of it or not ready for it have been driven insane by the force of Kundalini remaking their psyche. Fortunately it does not seem like your case is like that.


3) Have you started noticing some physiological changes ? Any unusual pains, sensations ?
I had my book released, we moved to abroad and all these eight months I didn't cry. If that is something. But these months have been exciting and I cannot say anything specifically.

You are just living the good life - K has nothing to do with it!

Pains?? My already existing lowerback pain seems to have intensified(could be co incidence). Otherwise nothing..I am good. In fact my frequent headaches are very rare these days.

I know it is very difficult right.I cannot put this under any name.
Yeah mixing up is not right but I didn't know(Still not sure) under which label I should put this, that's why the confusion.

At this point - do nothing different. It MAY help to acquire an understanding of Advaita ( preferably modern authors) so you are not overwhelmed by the experience and can also place this in context. No need to get "spiritual" - this is a biological phenomenon.

Is anything happening with your eyesight ?

 

u have posted ur experience after a year

if u would have continued concentrating, u might have urself understood by this time, since in such processes we do understand it ourself, either thru personal experience or from outside sources

why did ur uncle say that u r fortunate ? he knows something, i suppose

u r definitely and fortunately on the spiritual path due to ur purvajanma sukrutham/spiritual practice by grace

if u r keen on progressing (it is said that in one birth or the other this only is the ultimate goal, in such a case why not now?) - pl take the help of a sadguru without further waste of time - ofcourse this also automatically happens (because this is not going to leave u even if u do not cooperate) - pray for that. good luck
