    Hello ladies,

The Interpreter - movie by Sydney Pollock - is likely to be released soon in India. I am waiting to see the movie as it is for the first time being shot in the U.N. premises.

The movie stars Nicole Kidman. She acts as an Interpreter in the movie and she witnesses an African diplomat being assassinated in the corridors of U.N.

Movie promises to be a diplomacy versus violence. Sean penn also stars in the movie.
I will give u a review once I see the movie.

    Hi mami,
Even I am waiting for the release of The Interpreter here in Hyderabad.
Do u know something : Alfred Hitchcock wanted to shoot his movie " North by Northwest" in U.N. building. But he was politely denied the permission.

so Hitchcock was contend shooting Cary Grant walking up the stairs to enter the U.N. building.

This time Kofi Annan gave permission to Pollock on a condition that he could shoot his movie on days U.N. is not working.
    bye.

I did watch THE INTERPRETER on my DVD.
It's a wonderful movie and Nicole has done an excellent job.
I enjoyed watching it - from beginning to end, u just wouldn't get up for a break. Watching such a movie in theatre is ideal than at home.
