Dear Malathijagan, Your poem as usual gives a good message in nice words. I am reminded of the famous saying by American President John F. Kennady's famous saying, ' ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country'. Regards, TDU
Dear Malathi, This is a lovely post and I strongly agree that we all owe a lot to the world that we live in. You surely have expressed very well that no creature in this world other than human beings fail to do their duty. And that's exactly what I feel too. Neither we nor the country does much in return for all that we've received. Why would one care to pay taxes in full, when that tax money goes to fill the politician Belly? How many of us even care to keep even our own surroundings clean, though nature's been always giving than taking. Our debts are rising like the sky scraper that we are building. It's sad but true that of the billions only thousands really care about the way we live. So definitely what we owe is much more than we can ever think. But I'm glad atleast there are thousands who'll live life by nature's law so divine indeed. Have a lovely day.
Dear Malathi, A lovely poem indeed!! You are surely gifted!! We all have our duties & responsibilities as citizens, but how many of us even take it seriously?? As u said, we sure can learn a lot from nature. Ragini.
Dear Malathi, I enjoyed reading this simple but very profound poem of yours. The ideals are lofty, just like its poetess who dares to compare the lofty mountain to a teeny weeny worm! It does not matter how big or small a person one is in the social structure, all one needs is an honest heart. L, Kamla
Dear Malathi, I admire your flow of words and the little messages that are hidden amoung them. Regards, Nivedi
