    I have been remiss posting here! Just that time of the year you know what with Deepavali festivities and all that! Truth be told, of all my challenges, the only one I really have to make an attempt is the writing one. Rest of them are integrated well into my routine. An occasional slip is not hard to correct! That said, keeping the challenges as a goal does motivate me!

    I hope everyone had a fabulous festival season. My favorite part of any festival is the rangoli part. Well, my favorite part is making rangolis....period. I don't ever remember not wanting to make one, even when I was in India on a daily basis. Here are two of the designs I made for this deepavali..

    I have now made my diet plan a regular life-style with measured quantities of food calculating intake of carb (109 grams), protein (70 grams), fat (79 grams) and fiber. This recommendation came from the Nutritionist. Occassionally, I stray from it but get back to routine quickly. No direct sugar. I have a weighing scale in the kitchen to measure quantities of food. In addition to the diet, I also take vitamin supplements such as Metabolic Synergy, Magnesium Buffered Chelate, Ferrochel (Iron), and Vitamin B12 all recommended by the Nutritionist.

    My weighing scale is broken and I need to buy a new one. I need to measure the weight drop at least once in 15 days to motivate me more.
