The ‘75 Hard’ Challenge

    For a change today i had my breakfast with chai at 5 AM, had veggie wrap and masala chai.
    Chanting, and slokas for 20 mins.

    Today ended in a very horrible way and it reminded of the book - I tell you I had that face too.....

    We all know some days are like that only. The only thing I felt I had control over truly was on my challenges. By 8.30 pm I was left with chanting and writing, and I can tell you all in all honesty that I could put aside the events of the day and complete the challenge – I knew I had no control on any happenings for the day and the only control I had was on my ability to complete the challenge and that has made all the difference.

    I often tell my yoga students that downward is my resting pose and encourage them to get comfortable with the pose and to stay longer. Today I can tell you that this 75 challenge is my recourse and it can be yours too Who knew I could smile before I sign off for the day!

    Didn't really make it to the targeted numbers but I made time for everything on the list. That's a good start. Though I don't log it in as a goal, I've been reading a lot. I never needed an excuse to read but being around women who love to read makes it all the more easier. If there is something you've been trying to do/learn, find a bunch of like minded people and join them. Social pressure channeled correctly can be a wonderful force for behavior change. Case in point - this thread. : )
