    Dear friends,

I am partially there - meaning able to do half of things I set out to do. I will post these updates and once I start the challenge, I will begin the 75 day count down. After two weeks of suffering and losing about 10 pounds - tested negative for covid, but some other bug seems like which is going around in schools perhaps, I am picking up the pieces. I do have to add that I am grateful I have a routine, especially a workout routine - I feel it could have been much worse! I ahven't been whammied like this in a decade or so!! I still am to get my voice back completely - all that teaching with a mask makes the progress seem slower.

So here are my updates just to keep us all motivated and going -

    28th Feb 2022

    Sun Salutations - none
    Chant - none
    Read 10 pages a day – none
45 mins work out – 45 min spin
    Drink 1L of water > 1 liter
    IF 16:8 – 16:8

    01st Mar 2022

    Sun Salutations - none
    Chant - none
    Read 10 pages a day – none
45 mins work out – 45 min spin
    Drink 1L of water > 1 liter
    IF 16:8 – 16:8

    02nd Mar 2022

    Sun Salutations - none
    Chant - none
    Read 10 pages a day – none
45 mins work out – 45 min spin
    Drink 1L of water > 1 liter
    IF 16:8 – 16:8

Couple of things working in my favor -

One, spinning now is being offered 4 times/week. Phew!! That also gets me to drink more water, way more! This helps me with IF too.
Two, on the occasion of Mahashivarathri, I have done a lot of chanting between India celebration and US celebration :)

My biggest challenge is every day sun salutations - been a challenge for over a decade now :( I hope third time is a charm and I will get to make it a habit!

Thank you @Afresh and @Gauri03 for your updates - that certainly made a difference. And @Afresh as bad as things seem to be right now, we have to do what we do. I tell my students every single day that we cannot all make a difference to the world, but we can certainly make a difference to our immediate surroundings and people by staying kind and cheerful.

"Exercise gives you endorphins, endorphins make you happy. Happy people......" from the movie, "legally blonde :)

    Hi there!
    Thanks for posting !! :)
Really glad to see your post
Was waiting for the updates to keep going

ouch.. that seems really tough and don't tell me about this new bug in town; here, however, some ppl i know have had a bad bout with extreme weakness post high fever , though they did also test positive with covid. One never knows what kinda strain is going around!
I completely agree that having a disciplined routine would have definitely helped in overcoming this and making a quicker recovery!
I still reiterate........ as you are doing.. take good time to make the complete recovery at your pace! and this goes for you too @Kaput !
Hope you guys are now almost there to run this mile!
I personally haven't been/wasn't looking at this as 75 day challenge .. though am sure now i might, but then less said the better currently ;)

    Lets power ahead!!
And yes as you said.. let's all practice being kind and grateful for that's all we can do in certain circumstances

Ahh... i can so understand that feeling!!
I guess i have been a bit fortunate in that aspect ,as i didnt get any summer vacation really and have had to commute to office all through! so expectation levels remained almost same
However, Am also dreading the addition of going back to regular school routine for children next now!!

So same boat for starters :)
And as they say.. whats to be done will get done .. so dont fret too much! you and I should slip in with ease soon.. atleast that's the spirit ;)
