    I’m back! Kinda took the last week off. Didn’t exactly goof off — still did the IF, water, walking etc — just didn’t track conscientiously. Back to scheduled programming with a new goal list.

    2.5L water
    15 mins of meditation
    50 minutes of workout (strength training and yoga)
    18:6 IF, Low carb
    Music practice 30 minutes

    September 06: D1
    • 2.5L water done
    • 15 mins of meditation done
    • 50 minutes walk done
    • IF > 18 hours, carbs > 150 gm
    • Music practice - 40 minutes

    Yes it is ! I found it a little slow read but then realized the title :) In all hinesty, as I read thriough the book, I was feeling like Eknath was narrating himself - I foudn it very intersting! Have you read it

    I came across a video of a Shao Lin monk talking about the secret to being a great martial arts practitioner and he said something that spoke to our efforts on this thread. He said that you don’t have to make long term plans to master something. You only need to decide how to spend the 24 hours immediately ahead of you. This quote sums it up well: “You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret to your success is found in your daily routine.”

    It is a coincidence or may be I should stop saying that, but just yesterday DH sent me a quote similar to the one you shared
    about habits in a slightly different context and I think it is from Meditations and it begins like this "The character that takes command in moment of crucial choices has already been determined. It has been determined by 1,000 other choices made earlier in seemingly unimportant moments......." So I ended up keeping with the challenge what with festival and all :) and grateful to have done it!
