@Gauri03 dear madam thanks again to start . This is really hard. I have been shameless in taking time off and even fought with my managers for my kids for their classes which were not even important, but to do something only for me. I really struggled to complete even half procrastinated for a lot of time.

Today 3rd day, it was raining, something triggered. i took umbrella and put my hoodie and walked outside.
another benefit i am noticing is my mind chatter is reducing. though my dh is joking about me going to midlife crisis.:smash2:

the technical part is going slow, due to procastination. it made me realize to optimize my time during the day and focus hard to attend to that too. hope i make it.

this is great thread. infact IL in relationship should read and do. It is very hard to follow self. infact ILS who are in difficult times should do something like this for them. It cannot change surroundings, but it will increase inner strength.

Had friends over for a backyard cookout. Cooked all morning and didn’t even start my challenge tasks until after 4pm. On days like today I feel extra grateful for my husband. Every time I give into inertia he nudges me to simply start. He knows that if I start a task I will see it to completion. Wasn’t fun but I got through it. The real test will come at the end of the month when I have to travel for a week. I’m going to need a plan if I want to avoid starting over 50+ days into the challenge. :disrelieved:

Well said @lavani. Couldn’t agree more. I’m glad this challenge is helping you prioritize taking time for yourself. Each time I push through the resistance and complete the challenge for the day I build a little more trust in myself, and with that trust comes the confidence that I am capable of making difficult choices and seeing them through. It’s an empowering feeling.

Here’s something I saw that I wanted to share with you ladies —

As we try to push ourselves past our limits, a little reminder to slow down and take in some sun. It is summer after all! Let’s try to do any or all of these things depending on what’s feasible, and share our experiences here.
