    Friends,
please read this like a story ...but remember the charactors involved in this small tale is all living and real...can be termed as an autobiographical narration

    Read on.....

    THAMASOMA......JYOTHIRGAMAYA !!

Like all young ladies SHE too day- dreamed ..In her dreams there was a hero, who always made her feel like a queen of love ..But however hard SHE tried she was not able to put a face on that form..but she dreamt on ..as it was enchanting ....
As days and months slithered past SHE became a wife and a mother to a very smart and loving baby boy...
Life fell in to a mixture of good and bad incidents ...Even then that dreamy vision enchanted her at times ..HE came in her dreams to tantalize her ..but she was not able to see HIS face..but SHE enjoyed those erotic interludes..even though it was a dream....
SHE nutured many sore feelings and happenings in her husband`s house and no one entertained her simple and undiluted faith and dedication to her in laws...Because there was a wayward woman there who was her sister in law ...she had married against her parent`s wishes and thus brought shame on them..But still they loved her and hence didnot want HER to get any benefits that HER sister in law was denied ..SHE was infact an object of vengence ..a kind of scapegoat ...
But SHE never fretted .because SHE believed strongly in Destiny...But she often wondered, why her dreamy vision never took her husband`s resemblance....it remained a question mark ...
Seasons gave way ...HER life as a wife and mother went hand in had with the seasons ..HER son brought pride and happiness to her by his truth ful and lovely living ..But not her husband ..he escaped in to a sinful and cursed life with out even his own knowledge ..Still SHE tried her level best to retract him ..She lost her self esteem in that process .Still SHe never compalined ..her aim was to succeed in her mission ..she did succeed in bringing back her husband from the throes of despair...but fate had some thing else in store for him ..that was his death....
She was left alone to fend for her child and herself ..Her blessings and good will saw her son to great lofty heights ..
In her hurry to stream line her life and her child`s welfare ,she got a helping hand ..HE came from near her vicinity ,although she was unaware of him ....She had a fine aim and she worked towards it .He became her anchor ....an anchor thrown to her by the destiny ....the same destiny in which she had vested all her faith..HE gave her love ,life and some thing more ..a permanent secure feeling ...But that relation ship remained hidden and no strings attached ..both were free to drift apart ...But SHE didnot want to drift ..neither did HE ...Thus she knew what true love was ..Yes She fell in love .....
Now her dream had a meaning ..her vision had a face ..yes it shone down on her with all its splendour and love ..It was HIS face ...The face of that stranger who came from nowhere to give her everything she aspired for ..the face of her mentor ,guide and lover............

    Hi
A short story, but the long, tragic life story of many hapless women in our country. Women with no emotional support either from the husband or other relatives have only her grit and fantasies to fall back on. Most of them emerge strong and become women of substance. Only a few break down. Though women are called the weaker sex, they are endowed with enough inner strength to tide over misfortunes. Maybe thats why she's called Shakthi.

I am glad that in this "story", SHE finally found peace with a soulmate and that Tamas gave way to Jyothi.
