TEN QUOTES FOR REAWAKENING "You have the right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions." This one's all about focusing on the journey, not just the destination. Do your best, and let the chips fall where they may. "Fear not, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Feeling a bit scared? This quote is like a warm hug from the universe, reminding you that you're not alone in this Universe. "Better to live a life of duty than a life of pleasure. "Work done without attachment at yield happiness, while work done with attachment certainly leads to sorrow." "As a person sheds worn-out clothes and puts on new ones, so the soul discards old bodies and enters into new ones." This one's a bit philosophical, but it's a reminder that life is a journey, and we're constantly evolving. "The wise person sees the self in all beings and all beings in the self. Therefore, they do not harm anyone." This is a beautiful message about compassion and empathy. "The soul is immortal and eternal. It is not born, nor does it die. It is not subject to change." This quote is a great reminder of our true nature and the importance of living in the present moment. "A person who has conquered their mind is stronger than a warrior who has conquered a thousand enemies." This is a powerful message about self-control and inner strength. "As a person who is thirsty drinks water, so a wise person drinks the nectar of immortality." This quote is a beautiful metaphor for finding inner peace and contentment. Remember, it's not just about memorizing these words; it's about understanding the wisdom behind them and applying it to your own life. And you guessed it right - the origins of these quotes. Interesting...these are all quotes from the Gita. Learning Gita itself is such a reawakening of your spirit and senses that life starts making a little more sense ! It is a guide to mankind and not just a religious book of the Hindus. Every human should read it. I am still in the process of learning Gita.
