Afew days back, I had an opportunity to attend a workshop on ‘Strengthening the Strength and Weakening the Weakness’…..conducted by the Brahmakumaris………
    .
It was a very enlightening experience and it changed my outlook towards many things……..
I would like to mention a few points here………..

Our biggest strength is the realization that I am asoul……..and I am running this body……..there must be proper harmony and understanding between the soul and the body…………

Our biggest weakness is the fear of death………we must realize that our soul is invincible…..it never dies………only its dress (body) and address (where we are reborn) keep changing………

Our weaknesses (vikar) cannot be overcome just by thinking that they should go away……we’ll end up thinking more & more about them…….We must use our strengths to overcome our weaknesses……….

    For example……..

What is darkness?........it is the absence of light……..so if we bring in the light………the darkness will automatically go away…….here, we must focus on the light and not the darkness…..

What is anger?........it is absence of peace & tranquility within us……..if we try to bring in peace within us, anger will automatically go away……….
So the main mantra is……..BE POSITIVE….
Our Altitude (the heights to which we can rise) depends on our Attitude………we should not see the weaknesses of others but focus on their good qualities……….

We have the support of our culture………Indian culture believes in ‘live and let live’……it advocates 'universal peace and brotherhood'..........

We must de-junk our mind from all pre-conceived notions and start afresh……..

We must ‘work without worries’ (www)……we all use the internet…….we must learn to use the innernet……..introspection…..we must learn to enjoy our work and we will be happy…….
    achievements

The formula for happinessHappiness = -------------------expectations As expectations increase, our happiness decreases……we must therefore learn to reduce our expectations……..
These days, all the organizations do the SWAT Analysis (Strengths/Weaknesses/Opportunities/Threats)………we must also do the same within ourselves………

About 30,000 to 40,000 thoughts come into our mind every day………of these, most are useless……..some are negative and some are good…….meditation helps us to improve the quality of our thought processes and channelise our thoughts…….

    Dear Sunkan,

Let me share few of Life's commitments and how we deal with it.

Ready or not, some day it will all come to an end.

There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, hours or days.

All the things you collected, whether treasured or forgotten will pass to someone else.

Your wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance.

It will not matter what you owned or what you were owed.

Your grudges, resentments, frustrations and jealousies will finally disappear.

So too, your hopes, ambitions, plans and to do lists will expire.

The wins and losses that once seemed so important will fade away.

It won't matter where you came from or what side of the tracks you lived on at the end.

It won't matter whether you were beautiful or brilliant.

Even your gender and skin color will be irrelevant.

So what will matter? How will the value of your days be measured?

What will matter is not what you bought but what you built, not what you got but what you gave.

What will matter is not your success but your significance.

What will matter is not what you learned but what you taught.

What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage, or sacrifice that enriched, empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example.

What will matter is not your competence but your character.

What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when you're gone.

What will matter is not your memories, but the memories that live in those who loved you.

What will matter is how long you will be remembered, by whom and for what.

Living a life that matters doesn't happen by accident.

It's not a matter of circumstance but of choice.

Choose to live a life that matters.
