Teen Nephew's question abt having Girlfriend

ya my worry is the same thing... 11th grade and all these GF / BF stuff wd jst spoil studies. I cudnt spk to my sis today as my nephew was also at home.
Though this guy is interested in sports that cant be his career. Now jst bcause the girl is also interested in sports, they got to knw each other.
He still is not sure what he has to do after his 12th... I am afraid this spoils the girl's interest in studies who wants to do her engineering after 12th (he terms her as nerd).
He has learnt to go out of the house even when there is no college in the pretext of sports. Very well learnt to fool his parents.
