we women , when we r growing up are given lots of teachings and have a set of rules to follow . In some of my friends home, they were encouraged to learn to cook, told that they should talk slowly, their laughter should be soft and not loud . besides the regular stuff when u get engaged to consider ur husband and his happiness as prime and try to be a good wife and dil and so many more such teachings. i was lucky to be born in a family where we were taught to follow our dreams and were not forced to do anything but then also my grand mother always use to tell me what i was suppose to do as a girl many of us have children and we are giving them good life besides passing on the knowledge we gained. Today i was sent an email by a friend and i really liked it so would like to share with u all, not sure if this is the right forum, posting in this as i feel its something good to read. It goes like this : " we need to teach our daughters to differentiate between A man who flatters her and a man who compliments her, A man who views her as a property and a man who views her properly. A man who lusts after her and a man who loves and trusts her. A man who believes he is god's gift to women and a man who remembers a woman was god's gift to man , BUT MOST IMPORTANT IS WE SHOULD TEACH OUR SON TO BE ONE SUCH MAN !!
Good one and whatever you have said is true...we need to teach them good values for life, they should have both good education as well as good manners.
Great message indeed which need to be emphasized and imbibed in them (both son and daughter) as they grow, but sad in today's fast phase of life Parents dont find time to talk their children but racing to create assets and bank balance. With or without assets from us also our children can live their life provided they are taught values of life and given good scope for eduaction... Thanks for sharing, :thankyou2:
