Question about property/wealth/capital gain taxes in India? Hi we have some properties in india which are handed over to us in 2008.now my questions are 1)what are the taxes we need to pay if we want to sell one or two of those properties and what percentage will that be considering captial gain and/or any other taxes? 2) I heard there is a new bill coming up in regard to property tax for a person owning property/properties over 60 lacs, but I am not getting any information on that.Can anyone elaborate or send me any relevant link? 3)what is the better way to reinvest after selling any property to save taxes and other charges.is it like investing in another property that even costs higher than the sale price of the previous one?please unfold some wise ideas, which i am basically thinking about as a big investment for my baby's future education abroad. Thanks
