Taste Of Avocado/ Butter Fruit

Hi,

I think you have cut the fruit before ripening it. A ripe avocado will be brown in colour. When we buy them, most of them will be green, wrap them in brown colour paper bags and place along with bananas for quick ripening. Once its ripe, it will taste better. Its pear shaped,
Has a thick or thin outer skin,
Colour ranges from green or purplish black,
Smooth and bumpy,
Flesh differs from paleyellow green with a butter consistency,
Best Avocado's are unblemished and heavy for their size,
If pressed with finger and causes a dent, then its too ripe (overripe),
Rich in Monounsaturatec fat and fiber.

PS: I usually consume it plain with salt sprinkled on the Avocado pieces.

yes we should buy it in green colour n ripen it at home. It takes 2-3 days usually. Go through the link, check the part below the stem before buying, it should be green not brown.
