    Hi,

Read in papers that in tamilnadu the entrance exam for the professional courses has been removed and admission will be based on the +2 marks alone. Generally in CBSE the PCBM (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths) student scores will be less when compared to the state syllbus scores, is it not? I think CSE is bit difficult than the state syllabus. How does the CBSE scores and state board scores are used to determine the admission? anyidea?

    hi bhuvana,

Welcome to il... is when we were taking entrances..cbse,icse consideration was 10% + their actual pecentage...that if you get 80% it meant you got 90%..

I think that advantage is not present now...that is why more and more children move out of cbse and join the state board in 11th for scoring more marks.....but if you continue in cbse you have advantage of trying other entrances.

I am also curious...if somebody has a recent experience please share....
