    Hi Friends,
    My daughter is 3.5 yrs old and she is going to Tamil school in cupertino. I thought this information might be useful for tamil people lives here.
    Actually it is conducted by California Tamil Academy. The academic year is from September-May. Classes are conducted everyweek sunday on De anza college, cupertino. There are around 400 students and in my daughter's class around 35. It's completly voluntry service and they do collect a minimal amount for books and Cd's. They does really well.
    you can find more information on
    ::California Tamil Academy::

    There's a sanskrit class conducted in washington community park (washington and mathilda) every saturday but that's usually for kids above 5. Check sunnyvale temple for sloka classes.

    Balagokulam is a good option to learn Sanskrit, too, but it's only for kids who are 5+

    I recently learned about CTA through my husband's friend whose son goes to the school. He has a 12-yr-old niece and an 8-yr-old niece who also attend CTA - their curriculum is very good and their fees are VERY modest.

    My daughter will be starting soon.
