Taking Leaves while working on H1b

    Hi,

    Can any one tell me how many leaves one can avail while working on H1b(through a consutancy) ?
    How many paid leaves,unpaid leaves and maternity leaves can be taken?
    Are we paid on maternity leave?Please let me know.

    Hi Simplegal,

    It depends on you consultancy. If you are paid hourly or fixed income. Usually consultants are paid hourly. If you work then you get paid.
    If company is paying fixed income, that is when they will give extras like paid holidays.
