    Dear Sudha
What an idyllic picture you have painted there! My mind went immediately to Raj Bhawan Road with all the beautiful trees now cut off mercilessly and yet the traffic remaining as insane as ever! *sigh*
But then, I am blessed with a mind that can remain relaxed amidst the most chaotic conditions. When everyone around me sits in his car restlessly hooting his horn impatiently, I listen to Malgudi Subha's lilting Ramana Geetham!
For most of us, the rush is in our minds! A post will follow on this!

    Dear Veenapoo
That's really bad! I can understand such an attitude towards catching a flight or train but beach? Has it not remained there for thousands of years waiting for us to come and enjoy? Why should anyone hurry through an enjoyment? As I keep saying, all the rush is only in our minds!

    Dear Sri,

Like the insurance ad where the father says I may not have time for sharing his small joys, but I have provided for his future -- providing money and comforts alone do not mean living life. If we dont take time to enjoy life's little pleasures, then there is no meaning in living.

Like you have said aazhndu anubhavippadu is the essence of life, how ever small the joys may be.

    Dear Chitra
You are absolutely right. Children look more to the joy of their parents being with them and spending their ime with them. The mere provision of comfort leaves hardly any impression on them.
How many children fall into drugs and other bad ways just because the parents just dont spend any time with them? Long time back, Sivasankari had written about such children in poignant detail.
Taking time to be with ourselves and the loved ones around us makes a great qualitative difference to one's liff!

    Dear Cheeniya Sir,
Let me first'take the time' to tell you that I am slowly going through all your posts and love the way you come up with some meaningful thought at the end. Love your user id too. This piece is absolutely true in these present days. We seem to have no time for anything even to breath fresh air. I feel the best thing we can give our children other than material things is our time. Family time is very important otherwise we just get disconnected with each other. It is sad that we have to set aside weekends for this as there seems to be no time during weekdays with hectic schedules. Very apt and every word seems to be very true Sir. Will try to be more regular with FB'S.
    Love,

    Dear Anjana
Thank you for your kind words and your promise to visit my sub-forum more often! Many people mistake taking time for a laid-back approach.
They seem to think that rushing is being active! Even bulls in a ring rush about madly but can we call that activity?
Taking Time is what we owe ourselves and our family , however busy we may be.

You post made me think a lot. These days, when my husband talks about anything seriously,he pauses, thinks, thinks again ,then says one word, thinks again, then another word....finally,by the time he completes his sentence,I am at my wits end. This is because he will be watching something interesting on TV and at the same time trying to tell me something-multi-tasking. I tell him why don't you just finish speaking fast, why do you have to drive me mad..

Now I realise, that it may be his fault that he is multi-tasking.But isn't it my fault too that I am impatient?
