How do infant care centers take care of the change from breastmilk to solid food? Being first time mom, Iam quite nervous about how easy it would be for him for the switch.. Would he be reluctant and go hungry or half-fed?:hide:
Do I need to take care of it personally? How can I ensure that he is being properly fed?

MrsSasi, I can share my experience - I started solids when my baby was 6 months old. We gave him the food first on weekends and then evenings after I came back from home. After a couple of weeks, I switched timings and gave the food to daycare. Till about 8 months he only had solids once a day. From 8-10 months I increased to twice a day and after about 1 year I changed to three times a day.

You can give enough food and formula/breastmilk so that even if baby does not eat well, there will still be formula/BM to drink. I always provide an extra bottle just in case.
