    Hi Swiss ladies,

We (self, hubby & 3 kids) are planning to visit Switzerland between 20th Oct - 24th Oct. Will there be snowfall in that period in Swiss. Will there be any rental apartment to stay there for 4 days with cheaper rates?

Can you ladies in Swiss can help me out?

Yes snowfall will be very high in the winter. The cost of living in the swiss is very high. You can find a decent hotel @ 100 EUR/per night and food is even costly. You may need to spend 100 EUR for a family of 3, per meal. You need to take 2-3 layers of winter clothing, scarf, gloves and winter shoes.

Dont miss going to Mt. pilatus or Mt. Titlis in gondala. You will feel awesome :)

Weather is a bit dodgy when you will be there and many mountain resorts will be shut down - with very few restaurants, hotels etc open - so it might be a good thing to stay in the cities and travel into the mountains on a day to day basis when and if you have good weather.Consider splitting your time between the German speaking and French speaking parts of the country to get two different flavours.

You can also try visining Heidiland and Leichestine, which are small countries near Zurich. They are like country side countries(of the size of the village). They can be visited anytime irrespective of the weather conditions.
