    I am sorry. I for got the name in Telugu. It's been a very long time that I used that word " Vadlu " . I mean to say that , but I don't know I just not realised until I saw ur message. I know the actual one. But some times :idontgetit: . It's time to rememorize Telugu words too:cry: ....

    But thanq to let me know Varudhini....

    Dear Sumathi,

    I have also made chikkis with caramel but cutting into pieces is a big problem.
    Finally I break it into pieces, which does not look even. Can you tell me how to cut it into pieces because it becomes hard immediately.:cry:

    Hi,

    In North India, when we buy this caramel sweets (Chikki), the shop-keeper will break the sweet slab and weigh the same. Not much importance is given to the shape.

    But if you want them in square or any specific shape, you can make a metal frame and pour the caramel into it, so that you may get the desired shape. :2thumbsup:
